02

Systemic therapy for

families and couples

Couple therapy is indicated to resolve conflicts, improve dialogue, work on trust and get to know each other better, among other issues that involve a couple. In the sessions, we develop tools to change behaviour patterns and identify the source of difficulties to build a healthy relationship. The role of the systemic couples therapist is to identify each individual's relationship pattern, their life stories and how they fit together. We also work on the issues that arise when different cultures meet and we build an environment so that both can live in harmony.

Family therapy is indicated for working with children and adolescents, and the difficulty between parents and children. All family members participate in the session together, with the aim of resolving conflicts, restoring bonds and re-establishing a relationship and a positive coexistence, in which there is mutual understanding and respect.

Outplacement mentoring / preparation / transition follow-up

The professional outplacement mentoring is designed both for those looking for a job opportunity abroad and for those already working abroad. These are sessions aimed at helping with the difficulties to be faced in the new work environment, cultural differences, adapting to the new country and how to build networking.

The process of moving to another city or country can be emotionally very delicate and difficult, regardless of the circumstances in which it happened. Adapting to a new routine, customs and culture generates emotional exhaustion and involves fears, loneliness, indecision, anguish and insecurities. Therapeutic accompaniment for this process helps you understand your emotions, adapt better to changes, the new place and people and better deal with longing, loss and other emotions involved with what was left elsewhere. In the sessions, questions about how to deal with the new and all the processes involved in change (individual, family and couple) are worked on. It can also be sought when there is a desire for greater self-knowledge and during situations of conflict in relationships, in the work and family environment.

In this therapy format, the psychologist acts as a facilitator, promoting the exchange between the participants, listening and welcoming the issues raised and carrying out interventions and activities such as group dynamics and dramatizations when necessary.

During the meetings, the participants expose their problems, anxieties, doubts and situations they are facing and the other members are free to interact, always maintaining respect and secrecy in relation to the group.

Group therapy for expatriates and immigrants helps to give new meaning to the difficulties experienced, generating feelings of belonging, support and recognition. Online group calls are performed by the zoom app.

Clinical supervision aims to help other psychologists with a systemic approach in their care (whether with expatriates and immigrants or not), answer questions and give a different look to the cases being treated.
